Regarded in the advertising and PR industry as a top strategist, Tony is considered one of the most respected marketing minds in the business, especially in the $600 billion foodservice industry. As president, he leads the firm in serving a variety of regional and national accounts in the textile, hardware, building materials, electronics, nuclear power and health care markets.
Tony founded Creative Energy in 1992 and has grown the firm as a national powerhouse for strategy, advertising, marketing, digital and public relations. The firm now serves a client base reaching from Europe to the Pacific Northwest.
Tony’s community service includes eight years as a member of his city’s school board and past presidency of the Southeastern Food Processors Association. He won the Silver Medal Award for lifetime achievement in advertising from the American Advertising Federation.
Teresa Treadway - Vice President
When Teresa Treadway was a child, she always wanted to be a secretary, spending her playtime “making appointments” and “taking calls.” While these days she’s still making appointments and taking calls like crazy, her work life extends far beyond secretarial duties.
As Creative Energy’s vice president, Teresa buys millions in media every year while also serving as the agency’s resident baker and mother hen.
Teresa has received the highest honor bestowed on advertising professionals by the 7th District of the American Advertising Federation, the Otis Dodge Memorial Award, having been actively involved in the AAF for many years.

From her job at Creative Energy to keeping up with her three young boys and their school and sports endeavors, Karen doesn’t have much spare time. But she does her best to carve out opportunities to spend time at the lake when the weather allows.
She also volunteers for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, an infant remembrance photography group, and Kari’s Heart Foundation, a local charity that raises money for hospitalized children, and serves on the board of CASA.
